DENIM BLUES

Finally, it's summer! Summers in the city are one of a kind, however they can be a little challenging too - be it mentally (as being stuck indoors at work during a heatwave can be psychologically draining) or physically (as the demand for adequate hydration and nutrients for our bodies increases). Not forgetting - our outfits are becoming harder to choose as we try to accommodate for the rising temperatures that neither we or our wardrobes are used to.

Denim - in my opinion, one of the most versatile materials of our time. Dress it up or down it will always work in your favour. Whether its a pair of denim cut offs, a jacket or oversized jeans, I simply love how adaptable denim elements can be.  Every season it comes back to grace the pages of style magazines because of its immortal nature in the fashion industry.  Right now, especially with all of the millennial trends on the rise - I doubt that you'll find a better time to rock it!

Due to my unhealthy obsession with all things tropical -  I am an absolute fiend when it comes to wearing swimwear. Even with an urban backdrop - one pieces are of no exception. I love pairing backless swimsuits with denim as they add a tropical flavour to my casual take on urban jungle fashion in the summer. I paired this Billabong suit with a shirt, some of my favourite jeans from Joe's Jeans and a pair of the comfiest boots around by Palladium..what do you guys think?

Here is my inspo, hope you'll enjoy it!

Into April x Parka London

Summer is creeping up on us, yet it is taking its time.. All I have to say is that I've been having some issues with the weather in the past weeks. With some days hitting 20 degrees and others dropping below 5, it really looks like the seasons just cannot come to an any sort of agreement..
However, let's try to look on the bright side - this unstable weather means one thing - I still get to rock these kind of cosy outfits (which I really love!) As you all know I am an absolute sucker for anything streetwear related, so I paired this Parka London camo puffer from the mens' collection (naturally!) with a pair of casual knee rip jeans & a thick knit ensemble. I love the 'oversize look' in my outfits, especially for those  colder days..and it's exactly what I went for here, on this 'sunny but chilly' day in  Soho..I wanted for this look to give off that industrial London vibe that I personally tend to associate with prominent greys. I adore those on the daily basis & I think this puffer really suits such an urban climate. With their style meets function ethos, I think Parka London did extremely well with the addition of this ever so stylish print to their practical puffer jacket model.
What more - doesn't it just camouflage ever so well against the London shades? That's for you guys to decide..

MARIA x 24

As some of you may already know,  I recently celebrated my 24th birthday on the 5th of March! I had a wonderful day & I wanted to create a special post reflecting on this day.  Here is my most recent collaboration with @serihyhypskyy , a photographer who is based in Lublin and helped me bring my ideas to life! You can check out more of his photography over at www.serhiyhipskyy.com Hope you'll enjoy the shots as much as I enjoyed this shoot! I have concluded that I suck at moody face poses & it doesn't really fit my personality so here is an icy post full of smiles..

Storm style x Boho Betty

This month has been ever so busy -  but I guess every January ends up being like that right? With my perfectionistic  tendencies, I have been already scheduling  and planning everything for the upcoming months whilst at the same time sorting things out that I had left over from 2016. In a nutshell: a hella lot of admin.  In between all this;  doing my hospital rotations, studying for exams and prepping for my Costa Rica retreat I have been very caught up, hence this post is a little delayed - nevertheless here it is & I hope you will all enjoy it!

The weather this day was far from perfect - that day England truly, lived up to its unpredictable weather and the shooting conditions were really tough.  However I am really Please wirh the finaƂ desult &  even with storms hitting the coastlines of the UK - here is my tribal inspired shoot featuring the beautiful range of jewellery just perfect for all occasions from Boho Betty.

Boho Betty is an accessories brand specialising in jewellery made from various materials such as leather, textiles, stones and beads to name a few. Being a bit of a cultural nomad myself, I really love how the brand draws inspiration from diverse cultures around the world and yet effortlessly incorporates this touch into their unique and versatile designs. Personally, I am very pragmatic about
accessories and jewellery - I like to be able to rock them from the morning till the eve no matter the occasion. This collection is perfect for that as it can enhance a basic daily outfit or add an elegant personal touch to an evening one - very up my street! With so many pretty wraps and bangles to choose from, it wasn't easy but here is my selection of my favourite pieces..
